Most people still perceive Google as a bunch of geeky engineers who have become masters of the universe because, well, that’s the sort of person who becomes a master of the universe these days.
Google Creative Labs gives the lie to this notion - an “ecosystem of collaborators, from designers to writers to agencies to production companies to every kind of creative resource… a loose and unofficial network of like-minded creative people around the world who come together on projects”.
I’m still not entirely clear about what Google Creative Labs will actually do but in the meantime they’ve been kind enough to share 87 Cool Things - a bunch of ways people have used Google products in interesting ways.
Any presentation including an idea called ‘Ohio is a Piano’ works just fine for me.
